Baku State University (BSU) has advanced in the QS World University Rankings 2024, achieving progress in several indicators.

Over the past year, there has been a 30% growth in the indicator of academic reputation, a 68% increase in employer reputation, a 15% improvement in the faculty\student ratio, and approximately an 8% rise in citations per faculty.

The QS World University Rankings is one of the world’s most-consulted and prestigious international rankings. During the 2024 edition of the rankings almost 1500 universities were evaluated according to the following indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio/international student ratio, sustainability, employment outcomes and international research network.
