“Career Path” Project Successfully Completed at BSU
The “Career Path” project, implemented by the Career and Alumni Center of Baku State University (BSU), has been successfully completed. The initiative aimed to prepare young professionals who meet the requirements of the modern labor market, are able to plan their careers strategically, and possess analytical and flexible thinking skills.
Thirty-three students were selected for the project through interviews, with motivation, commitment to self-development, and potential as the main selection criteria.
The program featured training and information sessions on topics such as “Career Planning,” “Labor Market Research,” “Setting SMART Goals,” and “CV and Resume Writing.” Participants also benefited from individual mentoring support, practical assignments aligned with real labor market demands, and guidance on career planning using the SMART approach.
Throughout the project, students analyzed their strengths and areas for improvement, enhanced their understanding of labor market dynamics, explored both digital and traditional job search methods, prepared for interviews, and participated in simulated recruitment processes.
At the closing ceremony, 22 students were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the program.
