Chairperson of BSU Volunteers Presents AI Ethics Project to Minister of Youth and Sports
Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gaibov met with leaders and representatives of various youth organizations.
During the meeting, Chairperson of the BSU Volunteers organization, Nermin Heydarova, spoke about the organization's role at Baku State University (BSU) and its contributions to public life in Azerbaijan. She presented the organization’s project titled "School of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence."
The project aims to develop young people's understanding of ethical issues related to artificial intelligence, enhance ethical decision-making skills, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among youth, raise awareness of AI's societal impact, and foster an environment of interregional cooperation and dialogue.
Nermin Heydarova also noted that in 2024, BSU’s Academic Council approved the establishment of a Department of Ethics of Artificial Intelligence at the university.
