Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev met with a delegation led by Christopher Campbell-Holt, Chief Executive of the Astana International Financial Centre Court (the AIFC Court) and the International Arbitration Centre (IAC).

Elchin Babayev told about the University activities and international relations. The rector stressed the importance of the cooperation between the Turkic-speaking countries.

Christopher Campbell-Holt shared information about the AIFC and IAC. He said the Astana International Financial Centre Court and the International Arbitration Centre (IAC) are independent legal entities. They have their own procedural rules modelled on best international practice. AIFC and IAC cooperate with government agencies, large companies, universities of the country, and in addition to legal activities, implements training and internship programs.

The meeting participants discussed the prospects of cooperation between BSU and the Astana International Financial Centre Court (the AIFC Court) and the International Arbitration Centre (IAC).
