Chinese Academy of Social Sciences Delegation Visits BSU
A delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, led by Vice President Gao Wenshu, recently visited Baku State University (BSU).
During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev provided an in-depth overview of the university's history, structure, international collaborations, as well as its academic and research programs. He highlighted that BSU, home to approximately 25,000 students, consists of 16 faculties, a college, a lyceum, and the Gazakh branch. As a hub for education, science, research, and innovation, BSU plays a pivotal role in training specialists across a wide range of scientific disciplines.
Vice President Gao Wenshu expressed the Academy's interest in offering scholarships to Azerbaijani students aspiring to study in China. He noted that the Academy provides educational opportunities in both English and Chinese.
The discussions also covered future cooperation between the institutions, with a focus on educational programs, joint research initiatives, and social activities.
