Rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov met with Shao Xubo, Deputy Director for Asia and Africa at the Confucius Institute and representatives of Hanban and Anhui Universities. Rector Abel Maharramov informed the visitors about the history of Baku State University and highlighted activity of Confucius Institute  and teaching the Chinese language and literature at the university.

Shao Xubo said they attached great importance to collaboration with Baku State University describing the activity of the Confucius Institute  as the main priority of the bilateral cooperation.
