An event titled “Chinese Language Lights Bright Dreams,” dedicated to Chinese Language Day, was held at Baku State University, jointly organized by the Confucius Institute at BSU and the Chinese Embassy.

The opening ceremony featured remarks by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev and Chinese Ambassador Lu Mei, who highlighted the growing role of language and education in strengthening Azerbaijan–China relations.

The program included cultural presentations on Chinese traditions such as calligraphy, tea culture, and handicrafts, along with student performances and a Chinese language competition.

The event underscored BSU’s ongoing cooperation with Chinese partners, including academic programs, student exchanges, and initiatives promoting Chinese language and culture.
