Baku State University (BSU) hosted a meeting with representatives of Clarivate Analytics attended by BSU Rector Elchin Babayev, Vice-Rector Huseyn Mammadov, and Clarivate Analytics representatives Valentin Bogorov and Stephen Hawthorne.

The discussions focused on optimizing BSU’s research potential in line with global standards, strengthening its position in international rankings, and expanding its academic influence.

Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that cooperation with Clarivate Analytics provides a strong foundation for enhancing the university’s international competitiveness, implementing scientific innovations, and supporting researchers. Clarivate Analytics’ approach to evaluating the impact of international scientific publications, he noted, once again highlights the importance of this collaboration.

Participants also addressed the evaluation of scientific results and the expansion of BSU researchers’ access to Clarivate Analytics’ research resources.

Clarivate Analytics representatives presented effective solutions to increase the global recognition of BSU’s research activities. They stressed that the resources and tools offered by Clarivate Analytics will elevate the university’s scientific profile, citation impact, and researchers’ access to international journals to new levels.
