Baku State University (BSU) hosted the closing ceremony of a sports tournament dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the “Year of Urban Development and Architecture.”

Ahead of the ceremony, the third-place football match and the final were played. The Faculty of International Relations and Economics secured third place by defeating the Faculty of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, while the Faculty of History won the championship, overcoming the Faculty of Law in the final.

Winners of the chess, checkers, and tennis competitions, as well as the top three teams in volleyball and football, were awarded cups, medals, and certificates.

The tournament brought together around 300 students competing in five sports disciplines.
