Today, the presentation ceremony of the Comprehensive International Report "On Violated Rights of Internally Displaced Persons in the Occupied Territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan" prepared by the UNESCO Department of "Human Rights and Information Rights" of the Law Faculty of Baku State University (BSU) was held.

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev noted that one of the academic projects launched at BSU "Comprehensive international report on the violated rights of Azerbaijani IDPs" BSU Law Faculty "Human Rights and It was prepared with the participation of the faculty of the UNESCO Department of Information Law, well-known lawyers of the country and leading foreign legal scholars, well-known experts from the United States, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Turkey.

Elchin Babayev said that the main purpose of the international report was to determine the rights of IDPs violated by the occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia for about 30 years, then to determine the scope and direction of the damage, to restore the violated rights by studying international experience.

The ceremony was attended by First Deputy Speaker of the Milli Majlis Ali Huseynli, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Mammadov, Dean of the Law Faculty of BSU Amir Aliyev, The Commissioner (Ombudsman) Sabina Aliyeva Head of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Leyla Abdullayeva, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Pakistan to Azerbaijan Bilal Haiyi, First Deputy Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Barysh Saygyn, the Chief of Staff of the Culture Ministry Vasif Eyvazzadeh, Co-Chair of the Report Working Group Turgay Huseynov, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Aslanov and Samir Mardanli, a member of the working group.

Members of the working group presented videos by professors Leonid Timchenko (Ukraine), Aron Salimgerey (Kazakhstan), Javid Abdullazade (Turkey).

The Report will be sent to all international intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations.
