Conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Aziza Jafarzadeh held at BSU
Baku State University (BSU) has hosted a scientific-practical conference "Creativity of Aziza Jafarzadeh as a new stage in Azerbaijani prose", dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the people's writer Aziza Jafarzadeh.
The conference was moderated by Professor Mais Suleymanov, the Head of the Center for Scientific Activity and Innovation at BSU. Stressing the importance of the event he underlined that prominent Azerbaijani writer Aziza Jafarzadeh graduated from the Philological Faculty of Baku State University.
The head of the department of the Institute of Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi of ANAS, professor Almaz Ulvi, member of the Board of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, literary critic Asad Jahangir, associate professor of BSU Perviz Kazimi made presentations at the conference.
The writer’s son Turan Ibragimov on behalf of the family thanked BSU faculty members for the high assessment of the Aziza Jafarzade’s creation and presented the latest editions of the Aziza Jafarzade works to the Scientific Library of Baku State University.
