A conference titled “From Victory to a Sovereign Future” was held at Baku State University (BSU) on the initiative of the BSU Volunteers Organization and the Young Volunteers Public Association, dedicated to Victory Day – November 8.

Speaking at the event, BSU Vice-Rector Alish Agamirzayev emphasized that the 44-day Patriotic War demonstrated the strong leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the bravery of the Azerbaijani Army, and the unity of the Azerbaijani people. He noted that the restoration and construction work launched in the liberated territories is clear proof that “Karabakh has once again found its true masters and is experiencing a period of revival and prosperity.”

Aykhan Allahverdiyev, Chairman of the Young Volunteers Public Association and a Patriotic War veteran, called on young people to actively contribute to Karabakh’s restoration and to promote Azerbaijan’s historic Victory on international platforms.

The conference continued with speeches by Milli Majlis deputies, representatives of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, and family members of martyrs, and concluded with a screening of the documentary “In the Footsteps of History – Time and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief” by Professor Mahir Garibov.
