Conference on “Media and Communication Activities in the Digital Age” Kicks Off at BSU
An international conference titled “Media and Communication Activities in the Digital Age”, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Azerbaijani national press, has officially opened at Baku State University (BSU).
The event is jointly organized by BSU and Üsküdar University (Türkiye), in partnership with the Media Development Agency, the Audiovisual Council, and the Press Council of Azerbaijan.
On the first day, 48 reports will be presented across a range of thematic panels, including:
• Media and Society in the Digital Age
• Artificial Intelligence, Media and Society
• Media and Communication Research in the Digital Age
• Advertising and Marketing in the Digital Age
• History of Journalism
• Artificial Intelligence, Media and Visual Culture
• Digital Transformation and Media
The conference program includes a total of 19 in-person panel discussions and up to 24 online sessions, offering participants a comprehensive platform for dialogue and exchange on the evolving role of media and communication in the digital era.
