Confucius Institute at BSU holds a Chinese Song Singing Competition
On April 15th, 2017, the Chinese Song Singing Competition, devoted to the sixth anniversary of the establishment of the Confucius Institute, was held at BSU.
Co-Director of the Confucius Institute Oktay Jalilbeyli said that the purpose of the contest is to show the current level of teaching Chinese in Azerbaijan, to provide a site for students who are interested in Chinese language and culture, and to increase the interest of the Azerbaijanis to Chinese language.
The Secretary of the Ambassador of China, Zheng Haining, conveyed the congratulations of Ambassador Wei Jinghuahas to the participants, and noted that this type of event is an indicator of the development of the Azerbaijani-Chinese relations.
