Cooperation Between BSU and the University of Chieti-Pescara Discussed
A delegation from the G. D. Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara, Italy, recently visited Baku State University (BSU).
The meeting was attended by BSU Vice-Rector Shahin Panakhov, Director of the Center for Organization of Scientific Activity and Innovations Mais Suleymanov, International Relations Department staff members Asker Zeynalabdinov, Yegyana Aliyeva, and Sevinj Mammadova, an employee of the Department for Work with Foreign Students.
During the meeting, Shahin Panakhov provided an overview of BSU's faculties and key areas of activity, emphasizing the importance of strengthening relations with Italian universities. He highlighted that BSU prioritizes the establishment of partnerships with foreign institutions and the training of specialists through double-degree programs. In this context, cooperation with the University of Chieti-Pescara is expected to produce positive outcomes.
The guests—led by Conte Glauco Antonio, Senior Specialist in International Relations at the University of Chieti-Pescara; Marcello Costantini, Associate Professor in the Department of Psychobiology and Physiological Psychology; and Tania Zulli, Director of the Language Center—shared information about their university.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions, and various proposals were put forward.
