Meeting dedicated to "Future cooperation in the field of energy law  and maritime" between  Baku State University Law faculty and Tulane University  was held at BSU. Rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov stressed the importance of this event and praised the  Maritime and Energy Law LL.M Program which was being developed in cooperation with Tulane University Law School.

U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Robert Cekuta noted that cooperation between universities  positively affected the relations between the two countries. Deans of Law faculties of BSU and the University of Tulane Professor Amir Aliyev and Professor David Mayer made a speech at the event.

Double diplomas were presented to 2 graduates of  Tulane University Law School.

At the end of the meeting a memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan Republic and Baku State University.
