The ongoing educational campaign, titled "European Convention on Human Rights - 70," was launched by the Faculty of Law at Baku State University (BSU) in collaboration with the Council of Europe's representative office in Baku. This campaign, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights, aims to provide students with an in-depth study of the document's provisions regarding the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, as well as the case law of the European Court.

The campaign was initiated by Zaur Aliyev, the Dean of the Faculty, and Petr Zikh, the Head of the Baku Office of the Council of Europe.

The most recent training session of the campaign focused on the topic of "The Case Law of the European Court of Human Rights – Violence against Women and Domestic Violence." She provided detailed insights into the European Court of Human Rights' case law concerning violence against women and domestic violence, including information about received appeals, their consideration, court decisions, and their implementation. During her presentation, the expert shared examples from cases that have been examined by the court.
