Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Azerbaijan Milan Eckert and Deputy Head of Mission on Political, Cultural and Press Agenda  Daniel Putik have visited Baku State University (BSU).

In the meeting, the University`s rector, Elchin Babayev spoke about BSU`s activity and international relations and highlighted the contribution of the Azerbaijan-Czech Republic working group on interparliamentary relations of  Milli Majlis to the development of the Azerbaijan-Czech Republic relations.

They discussed cooperation prospects between  BSU and the Czech universities. Elchin Babaev informed about the  Protocol on cooperation with the Charles University, Czech Republic. It also discussed the possibility of future cooperation between the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Charles University and the Faculty of Biology of BSU, as well as creation of the Center for Czech Language and Literature at BSU. The sides exchanged views on issues related to the Visegrad scholarship for Azerbaijani scientists.
