A delegation from Atyrau State University named after Khalel Dosmukhamedov, led by Vice-Rector Bakhyt Altynbasov, paid a visit to Baku State University (BSU).

Welcoming the guests, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev highlighted the strategic importance of strengthening cooperation between Azerbaijani and Kazakhstani higher education institutions. He noted that joint research initiatives and academic exchange programs play a key role in enhancing the quality of higher education. It was also emphasized that BSU has significantly expanded its partnerships with leading universities in Kazakhstan in recent years, achieving notable progress in academic integration.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the implementation of new projects in science and education aimed at further developing international cooperation. Discussions focused on advancing internationalization, expanding academic and scientific collaboration, promoting joint research, and organizing faculty and student exchange programs.

Particular attention was given to potential cooperation in the fields of chemistry, physics, biology, and ecology.
