A delegation led by Yu Tianqi, Deputy Director of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) at Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, visited Baku State University (BSU).

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev welcomed the guests, emphasizing the strong political and economic ties between Azerbaijan and China. To further strengthen these relations, he proposed initiating joint projects with Chinese research and educational institutions across various disciplines.

Yu Tianqi expressed the Center’s interest in fostering collaboration between Chinese universities and BSU. He also shared details about ongoing projects spearheaded by the Center.

The delegation concluded their visit with a tour of the Confucius Institute at BSU, where they met with faculty and staff.
