Delegation from Kaye Academic College of Education Visits BSU

A delegation from Kaye Academic College of Education (Israel) visited Baku State University (BSU).

During the visit, the delegation met with BSU representatives to discuss the application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in education, digital transformation, and modern approaches to teaching and learning.

The delegation was briefed on BSU’s activities in the field of artificial intelligence, including the work of the University’s Department of AI Ethics and its key areas of focus. The discussions covered the use of AI to enhance the educational process, advance research, and improve educational management.

The delegation also visited the BSU Azerbaijan-Korea Center for Computer Science, where they were informed about the center’s activities, ongoing projects, international cooperation opportunities, and resources available to students.

A key topic of the discussions was the impact of AI technologies on education. The participants exchanged views on the opportunities AI tools offer for the learning process and their potential to improve the quality of education, as well as the associated risks and challenges. Particular attention was given to the impact of AI on academic integrity, independent thinking, and student creativity.

The visit also provided an opportunity to explore prospects for cooperation and joint initiatives in artificial intelligence, digital education, and educational technologies.
