A delegation from the Department of Pedagogy at Nizami Tashkent State Pedagogical University visited the Philological Faculty of Baku State University (BSU) to explore the work of the Department of Methodology of Teaching the Azerbaijani Language and Literature.

During the visit, the guests — Farokhat Mirzoyeva, Aziza Mukhsieva, Shaira Shadmanova, Mukhayo Baybayeva, Gulsenem Ibragimova, Malika Umarova, Gilale Ruzmetova, and Firuza Yoldasheva — shared insights into their academic and pedagogical activities and discussed opportunities for future collaboration.

Head of the Department, Metanet Abdullayeva, provided an overview of the department’s history, academic focus, research directions, and staff training initiatives.

The meeting also included an engaging exchange of views on Sufi literature, with particular emphasis on the metaphorical language in the works of Nizami Ganjavi. At the conclusion of the visit, the guests were presented with scholarly publications authored by the department's staff.
