A delegation from the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan has visited the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology at Baku State University (BSU), furthering academic dialogue and cooperation between the two institutions.

The visiting delegation included Head of the Department of Psychology Dilber Mukhammedova, Professor Rukhsora Kudratullaeva, Associate Professor Aziza Turakulova, and Senior Lecturer Diyora Khodjakulova. The guests were welcomed by the faculty’s leadership and department heads.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views and discussed potential areas of collaboration, with a particular focus on family values, gender studies, and psychological research. The parties reached an agreement to carry out joint scientific research exploring shared and differing aspects of family values in their respective cultures.

Dean of the Faculty, Rovshan Javadov, provided a detailed overview of the faculty’s activities and outlined the promising prospects for cooperation. He emphasized that such scientific partnerships play a key role in strengthening both academic ties and the friendship between the two fraternal nations.
As part of their visit, the Uzbek scholars also observed the faculty’s teaching practices and interacted with students.
