A delegation led by Dilshod Kholmatov, Vice-Rector of the University of Business and Science of Uzbekistan, visited Baku State University (BSU).

During the meeting, BSU Vice-Rector Huseyn Mamedov briefed the guests on the university’s history, structure, and academic and research activities. He noted that BSU maintains close cooperation with several leading universities in Uzbekistan, implementing student and faculty exchange programs and joint research projects that contribute to strengthening the region’s scientific potential and enhancing education quality.

Huseyn Mamedov highlighted BSU’s Center of Excellence for Research, Development, and Innovation and its 22 research laboratories, emphasizing the wide opportunities for scientific collaboration between the two universities, particularly in the natural and exact sciences.

Representatives of the Uzbek delegation presented the main directions of their university’s activities and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation will continue to grow. The sides also discussed organizing joint scientific conferences, developing academic partnerships, facilitating teacher and student exchanges, and implementing dual degree programs.
