Delegation from Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering Visits BSU
A delegation led by Kaiyrbek Makulov, Vice-Rector of the Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering (Kazakhstan), visited Baku State University (BSU) to explore opportunities for academic collaboration.
During the meeting, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that the strong bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan provide a solid foundation for scientific and educational cooperation. He highlighted that BSU currently offers 12 dual-degree programs, four of which are in partnership with Kazakhstani universities, including a key collaboration with the Yessenov Caspian University of Technology and Engineering.
Babayev further noted that BSU has strong academic programs in law, international relations, oriental studies, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and philology. He expressed interest in expanding cooperation with the Caspian University in these fields, as well as in the humanities, through joint scientific research initiatives and an increase in dual-degree programs.
Vice-Rector Kaiyrbek Makulov reaffirmed his university’s commitment to strengthening ties with BSU, emphasizing the importance of deepening academic and research collaboration between the two institutions.
