A delegation led by the Rector of Safi Utebayev Atyrau Oil and Gas University Gulzada Shakulikova, has visited Baku State University (BSU).

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev stated that expanding cooperation with higher education institutions in Kazakhstan is one of the university’s key priorities. He noted BSU’s strong tradition in chemistry and highlighted opportunities for joint research in various areas of theoretical and applied chemistry. He emphasized that such collaboration would significantly contribute to strengthening partnerships not only between the two universities but also between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in the fields of innovation and energy sciences.

Gulzada Shakulikova noted the importance of further strengthening ties with BSU, noting that the university she leads is among Kazakhstan’s leading specialized institutions preparing professionals for the energy sector.

During the meeting, the sides discussed expanding cooperation in education and scientific research, as well as implementing joint innovative projects.
