Delegation Led by Yunus Emre Institute President Visits BSU
A delegation led by Abdurrahman Ali, President of Türkiye’s Yunus Emre Institute, visited Baku State University (BSU).
Welcoming the guests, BSU Rector Elchin Babayev emphasized that cooperation between the fraternal countries is strong across all fields, including science, education, and culture. He noted that in a period marked by the growing unity of the Turkic world, the role of institutions such as the Yunus Emre Institute is becoming increasingly significant. Cooperation between BSU and the Institute began in 2012, and since then, the two sides have carried out numerous joint projects.
Abdurrahman Ali highlighted that the Yunus Emre Institute operates in 71 countries and spoke about the historically rooted brotherly relations between Türkiye and Azerbaijan. He stressed the importance of expanding collaboration in science, education, and culture.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for further strengthening integration and deepening scientific and cultural ties between BSU and the Yunus Emre Institute’s Baku branch.
