Delegation of  the Iraqi Embassy has visited BSU to meet with its officials.

The meeting was attended by Farda Imanov, BSU Vice-Rector for Organization of the Educational Process and Teaching Technologies; Rauf Hasanov, Head of the International Relations Department; Tarlan Melikov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies; Dr. Huthaifa Z. Mahmoud, First Secretary of the Embassy and  Embassy employee Perviz Efendiev.

BSU Vice-Rector Farda Imanov spoke about the work done at the university in recent years, the reforms carried out in the country. He touched upon the country's achievements in the field of science and education.

Expressing the interest in the implementation of joint projects, Dr. Huthaifa Z. Mahmoud noted that increasing the number of Iraqi students and researchers at Baku State University would be beneficial for both parties.

The parties exchanged views on further prospects for bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest.
