A delegation of Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda State University (KSU) of Kazakhstan has visited Baku State University (BSU) to meet rector, academician Abel Maharramov.

During the meeting the rector highlighted Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan relations, and stressed the importance of cooperation between universities of the two countries.

He hailed a memorandum signed by BSU and Kyzylorda State University last year, saying it contributes to the expansion of the bilateral cooperation.

Maharramov said BSU hosted events to celebrate anniversaries of the Kazakh Khanate and Abay Kunanbayev.

Dean at Kyzylorda State University Bakıtkhan Abdulkarimov said KSU was keen to enhance cooperation with Baku State University.
