A meeting was held at Baku State University (BSU) with the delegation from Tomar Polytechnic Institute (IPT) of Portugal, as part of the international exchange program for teachers and students "Erasmus KA 171." The meeting was attended by the Vice-President of the Institute, Nuno Madeira, Professor Vasco Silva, President of the Scientific Council of the Management School, Célio Marques, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Maria Catroga.

BSU Rector Elchin Babayev provided the guests with detailed information about the university's history, scientific activities, and international connections. He emphasized the special importance BSU places on cooperation with European countries, including universities in Portugal.

Nuno Madeira, the Vice-President of the Institute, shared information about the Institute's activities, its international relations, and the prospects for bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, they discussed the further expansion of bilateral cooperation between BSU and Tomar Polytechnic Institute.
