A Department of Artificial Intelligence Ethics will be established at Baku State University (BSU) in collaboration with the International Turkic Academy. The decision was made at the last meeting of the BSU Academic Council for the 2023/2024 academic year.

The department will conduct research on combating the profound side effects of artificial intelligence, as well as the targeted development and application of AI systems.

In recent years, the International Turkic Academy has been working on creating a unified scientific space in Turkic-speaking countries and plays an important role in the close integration of scientific institutions and communities in these countries.
