Deputy Director of MUSLIM Institute Delivers Lecture at BSU
A meeting was held at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of Baku State University (BSU) with Asif Tanveer Awan, Deputy Director of the MUSLIM Institute of Pakistan.
As part of the meeting, Asif Tanveer Awan delivered a lecture on “Azerbaijan–Pakistan Literary and Cultural Relations” for students specializing in Regional Studies (Pakistan). He provided detailed information on the historical background, stages of development, and current state of Azerbaijan–Pakistan relations.
During his speech, the guest highlighted the work of Hazrat Sultan Bahu, a prominent Sufi poet and a significant figure in Pakistani and Urdu literature, noting that his legacy is also being studied in Azerbaijan.
The lecture concluded with a Q&A session, during which Asif Tanveer Awan answered students’ questions.
