Ilyas Nasibov, Director of the Student Scientific and Technical Creativity Center at Baku State University (BSU), visited Istanbul Gedik University in Türkiye.

The purpose of the visit was to explore the university’s educational and research capabilities in the field of engineering and to become familiar with the activities of its Technology Transfer Office.

During the visit, Ilyas Nasibov met with Engin Açıkkalın, Head of the Technology Transfer Office, and Dr. Egemen Sulukan, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department.

At the meeting, Mr. Nasibov shared information about BSU’s history, faculties, laboratories, research centers, international rankings, and achievements in technology and startup competitions. He also learned about student employment and internship opportunities offered through Istanbul Gedik University’s Technology Transfer Office.
