Rector of Baku State University, academician Abel Maharramov received a delegation of European universities. The purpose of the visit is to discuss the project of the distance learning between BSU and the University of Westminster (UK). Dean of the Biology Faculty of the BSU Akif Guliyev gave the more detailed information about the project. The delegation comprised representatives of the University of Westminster, and also representatives from the universities of France, Italy and Georgia. The guests were familiarized with the modern laboratories of the Biology Faculty and with the learning process at BSU. They also delivered lectures to the Azeri students.

Mentioned project will be implemented within the “Tempus” program. Project coordinator is the representative of the University of Westminster Nino Porakishvili. It is necessary to recall that the first draft of Tempus was to establish the laboratory of immunology at the Biology Faculty of BSU.
