Rector of Baku State University (BSU) Elchin Babayev has met with the EBSCO Publishing company`s Regional Director for CIS countries Andrei Sokolov to discuss prospects of cooperation.

During the meeting, rector Elchin Babayev provided insight into the projects implemented by the university recently to modernize the scientific library and staff training in this field.

Rector Babayev noted the supremacy of BSU, which ranks first among Azerbaijani universities in terms of publication of scientific articles in journals included in the Web of Science database, saying “the scientific library of BSU allows its readers to use various databases related to science and education through EBSCO platform”.

Andrei Sokolov expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with BSU.
