An information session titled “Towards Success in Research: How Does Elsevier Support You?” was held at Baku State University (BSU) with the participation of Saide Sak, the official representative of the Elsevier publishing house.

Organized by the State Agency for Science and Higher Education, the session aimed to familiarize researchers with the effective use of Elsevier’s tools—such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, Scopus AI, and Mendeley—in the research process.

Participants received guidance on efficient research strategies, including topic selection, optimizing author and institutional profiles, identifying high-quartile journals, and preparing manuscripts for publication in international scientific journals. The session also highlighted the application of Scopus AI tools and offered practical advice on accessing and utilizing Elsevier’s resources.

More than 100 researchers attended the event. At the end of the session, participants were awarded electronic certificates.
