The Executive Director of the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Jafarov met with the students at Baku State University.
At the opening of the meeting, BSU rector Elchin Babayev said that the students of the university are actively involved in the social and political life of the country. He noted that Youth Policy Department has been established at BSU. BSU has many youth organizations as the Student Trade Union Committee, the Student Youth Organization, as well as "Volunteers of BSU".
Farid Jafarov gave the students thorough information on the Youth Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and noted that the Foundation has had a long journey within the ten years since its formation. Farid Jafarov underlined that the main activity of the Foundation was associated with the organization of grant competitions. He said that the Foundation will launch short-term educational programs at leading universities in US and Europe.
