The Faculty of Ecology and Soil Science of Baku State University (BSU) has hosted the scientific seminar dedicated to the environmental problems arising from the refining of petroleum oils.

Atlas Huseynli, PhD student of the Department of Ecological Chemistry made presentation entitled "Determination of the composition of waste generated in the process of refining petroleum oils with hydrogen". She provided information on the causes and composition of waste in the process of refining petroleum oils with hydrogen.
