The Faculty of Physics at Baku State University (BSU) has hosted an event dedicated to the " "Year of Solidarity for a Green World".

Elman Yusifov, Head of the Laboratory at the Institute of Botany of the Ministry of Science and Education made presentation titled "A Glimpse into the Future in the Context of Green Energy Challenges". The presentation discussed the chronology of natural and anthropogenic causes of climate change, serious threats to biodiversity and human life, ways to mitigate and alleviate consequences, the latest views on the origin and development of life on Earth, the essence of the COP29 session and its contribution to our country, concepts of the future world and global models, ecological challenges of the 21st century, environmental problems of Azerbaijan, and the strategy of society-nature relations.

The event was attended by scientists and specialists from the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the National Aviation Academy, and BSU, who also shared their opinions.
