The first graduation of the international double diploma program in the "Marine and Energy Law" at the master's level between Baku State University (BSU) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Kazakhstan took place on January 16, 2023 at BSU.

The double degree program between BSU and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was signed in 2020. According to the agreement, the students enrolled in the Master in "Marine and Energy Law" at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University of Kazakhstan may apply for the dual degree programme and get two master degrees, one from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and one from BSU.

Rector of BSU Elchin Babayev presented a diploma of the double degree program to a graduate from Kazakhstan, Baiturbay Orynbasar, and wished him success.
