The first issues of the journals “New Materials, Compounds and Applications” and “Low Dimensional Systems” were published. Rector of Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov is the editor-in-chief of the journals.

The founder of the journal “Low Dimensional Systems” is BSU, “New Materials, Compounds and Applications”  is BSU and Jomard Publishing.

Editorial board of both journals is composed of well-known scientists from more than 15 developed countries.  Research articles  of Abel Maharramov, Hirotaka Ikhara (Japan), S.Shah (USA), Armando Pombayro (Portugal), Elina Yanovska (Ukraine), Dariush Sternik (Poland), K. Kordas (Finland) and other experts were published in the first issues of the journals.

The first issues of the journals are devoted to the forthcoming 100th anniversary of BSU.
