Former Japanese vice-minister of foreign affairs Akiko Yamanaka visited Baku State University

Rector of Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov met with Former Japanese vice-minister of foreign affairs Akiko Yamanaka. Academician Abel Maharramov briefed the gest on establishment, history of development, as well as international relations of BSU. Abel Maharramov noted that he headed the Azerbaijan-Japan inter-parliamentary friendship group. He also informed about cooperation between BSU and Japanese universities.
Akiko Yamanaka, in turn, expressed her satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijani-Japanese relations in all spheres. The meeting was attended by the Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Shusuke Watanabe.
