Fourteen International Students to Study at BSU under the Heydar Aliyev Scholarship

The selection process for the Heydar Aliyev International Educational Scholarship Program for the 2025–2026 academic year, established by the decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 8 July 2023, has been completed. In total, 100 students from 51 countries have been awarded scholarships.

Fourteen of these students will pursue their studies at Baku State University (BSU): three from Palestine, one from Djibouti, five from Iraq, one from Kenya, one from Pakistan, two from Kazakhstan, and one from Saint Kitts and Nevis.

This program provides five years of study at Azerbaijani universities for citizens of countries that are members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Non-Aligned Movement, for developing small island states, and for countries with ethnic, historical, or cultural ties to Azerbaijan.
