France`s Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier  visited Baku State University.

He met rector Abel Maharramov who highlighted the history of the University, as well as its international cooperation.

Maharramov also touched upon Azerbaijan–France relations.

The French Ambassador praised the two countries` relations.

Meunier said France was interested in developing the bilateral educational cooperation, particularly in conducting teacher and student exchange and boosting collaboration with Azerbaijani universities.

The Ambassador made a presentation on the Eastern Partnership program.
