A delegation led by President of the University of Strasbourg Alain Beretz has visited the Baku State University.

Rector, academician Abel Maharramov stressed the importance of the visit, which held under the initiative of Minister of Education
Mikayil Jabbarov. He emphasized the role of such meetings in developing educational ties between Azerbaijan and France. During the meeting, the sides also discussed «Nizami» and «Erasmus-Mundos» projects .

Then, BSU and the University of Rouen have signed a memorandum of understanding.The cooperation agreement reflects exchange programs of researches, PHD and Masters; mutual assistance on instructors’ increase of qualification; experience exchange on leading development methods; organization of bilateral joint symposiums, seminars and conferences; programs on dual diplomas, participation in projects and programs based on mutual interests.
