Students from the Biology Department of Baku State University (BSU) have excelled at the International Biology Olympiad, organized by the National University of Tajikistan.

Shahnaz Veliyeva claimed first place, while Firuza Magerramova and Gunay Fatalieva secured second-place honors in this prestigious competition.

The Olympiad served as an excellent platform for young biologists from around the world to exchange knowledge and experiences. Its primary objectives were to enhance participants’ understanding of biology, develop their problem-solving skills, foster creativity, and provide hands-on experience with modern educational technologies.
