On January 21, a great parade of planets will be visible in the evening sky.
According to the Department of Astrophysics at the Physics Faculty of Baku State University, six planets—Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune—will align and be observable from Earth simultaneously after sunset.
From west to east, the planets will appear in the following order: Saturn, Venus, Neptune, Uranus, Jupiter, and Mars.
While Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn can be easily seen with the naked eye, observing Uranus and Neptune will require binoculars or a telescope.
The next great parade of planets is expected to occur on February 28.
