Today, the head of the Baku State University (BSU), academician Abel Maharramov met with Marcelo Caballero Torres, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Elio Gamez Neira, the first vice-president of the Cuban InstituteforFriendshipBetweenPeople (ICAP), Ibiza Alvis, responsible person for Azerbaijan in the ICAP.

Elio Gamez Neira told about the Cuban InstituteforFriendshipBetweenPeople and expressed interest in future cooperation with the BSU. The meeting also involved discussion of issues of mutual interest.

After the meeting the guests met with the students and answered their questions.
