Esmer Aliyeva, Head of the Department of Civil Procedure and Commercial Law at the Law Faculty of Baku State University (BSU), participated in the international conference "Development of Transfer Valuation in Countries of the World", held in Vienna, Austria.

The event brought together approximately 200 delegates from 45 countries, including leading tax scholars, professors from prestigious universities, heads of tax administrations, UN and EU representatives responsible for tax policy, and executives from multinational corporations.

Associate Professor Esmer Aliyeva delivered a presentation at the conference, putting forward key proposals and highlighting developments in tax law education. She introduced the "Tax Law" specialization offered by BSU’s Law Faculty and emphasized the benefits of BSU Master’s students participating in exchange programs at the Vienna University of Economics and Business.

Additionally, she underscored the significance of BSU faculty members attending training sessions at the Singapore Tax Academy and advocated for inviting distinguished tax law professors from foreign universities as guest lecturers.
