The online event "Heydar Aliyev is the founder of modern Azerbaijan" dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was held at Baku State University. In welcoming the participants, rector Elchin Babayev congratulated all of them on the historic victory of the Azerbaijani army, achieved under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.
Elchin Babayev spoke about the unprecedented merits of the national leader in strengthening the independence and statehood of Azerbaijan, as well as the welfare of the people of the country.
The event was attended by members of the Azerbaijan Parliament Musa Gasimli, Jale Aliyeva, Javid Osmanov, Anar Iskenderov, BSU Professors Ibrahim Zeynalov, Sevinj Hajiyeva, Jahangir Memedli and other officials, BSU faculty and students.
They talked about Heydar Aliyev’s unparalleled services in order to strengthen Azerbaijan’s independence and our statehood. It was noted that Great Leader Heydar Aliyev dedicated his life and rich experience of statehood to the happy future and development of Azerbaijan.
